Individual therapy
Some people come to therapy to seek help with a mental health difficulty they are experiencing, such as anxiety, depression or trauma. Others come to therapy to explore or adjust to a significant life event, such as separation, bereavement or being given a new diagnosis.
I have expertise in a number of therapeutic approaches including CBT, EMDR, solution focused therapy and DBT. As a clinical psychologist, I tailor therapy to meet the unique needs and goals of each person that I work with.
I work in a neuroaffirmative way, and am experienced in adapting therapy for people who identify or are diagnosed as neurodivergent or who have different learning and communication needs due to intellectual differences.
Therapy usually involves at least 1 assessment session where we will focus on what has brought you to therapy and consider what you would like to achieve from our time together. This might include thinking about whether you are looking for short term therapy (12-16 sessions) or longer term therapy.
Therapy sessions are 50 minutes.
I currently only offer therapy online and only to adults.
If you are interested in individual therapy, I offer a free 10 minute telephone conversation prior to booking the initial session.
Therapy sessions are £120 per session.
